FAQ

Q1. Is it normal for the floor to smell after installation? How long will it dissipate?

A: The high-quality Linoleum PVC Flooring will only have a slight plastic smell (no irritation), which is a normal phenomenon, and the odor will dissipate obviously after 3-7 days of ventilation.

Q2. What should I do if the floor becomes warped and empty?

A: 
(1) Edge sticking: If it is self-adhesive, the edge sticking part can be uncovered, removed from the adhesive surface and re-pasted, and compacted with a heavy object for 24 hours; If the back adhesive fails, it needs to be coated with special PVC floor adhesive before pasting.

(2) Empty drum: inject special glue into the empty drum with a needle cylinder, compact it with a scraper after exhausting air, and let it stand for 24 hours; Large-scale hollowing needs to remove the floor in the corresponding area, and then re-lay it after treating the base (leveling and drying).

3. Will long-term sun exposure lead to the fading of linoleum?

A: Adding anti-ultraviolet coating on the surface of the product can slow down the fading speed in the sun, but it may still appear slight color change after long-term exposure to strong light (such as under a window facing south).

It is recommended to use it with curtains or sunshade curtains, or choose a style with dark color and complex texture to reduce the visual impact of fading.

4. Can it be laid directly on the original floor tile or wooden floor? What should I pay attention to?

A: Sure. Matters needing attention:
(1)The original floor should be flat (error ≤3mm/2m), the floor tiles should be polished with sandpaper to remove the surface gloss (enhance the adhesion), and the wooden floor should be ensured to be free from mildew and warping;
(2) cracks or empty drums at the grass-roots level need to be repaired first to avoid uneven stress on the floor in the later period;
(3) Self-adhesive payment and lock deduction can be directly laid, and the coil payment needs to be coated with interfacial agent at the grass-roots level to enhance the adhesion effect.
